THE FALLS:

There lies a house in the town of Sunderland that either one of us would love to live in. Imagine that you own a small, quaint little house in a town and in your backyard, only 30 feet from your back door and porch, is a picturesque 40-foot fanning waterfall. How relaxing life must be listening to a waterfall all day long! We admit our jealousy, and you probably will as well once you see Slatestone Brook Falls for the first time. The entire scene is picture-book perfect, with the Connecticut River on your left and a dazzlingly pretty cascade surrounded by sea-green colored moss on your right. Compliment this roadside attraction with nearby Gunn Brook Falls in spring when water levels are at their highest and you will have a fine day of waterfall sightseeing.

TRAIL INFORMATION:

Being on private property, the only view to be had of this waterfall is from the road. Please be sure to respect these landowners and enjoy this natural spectacle from a distance.
