Children love splashing in the dozens of small falls and pools that can be found here. The hike in is very easy (only 1.2 miles round-trip) on a nicely packed, well-maintained wide trail.
LOWER FALLS Rating: Albany, New Hampshire Swift River Roadside Lower Falls is quite possibly the most famous swimming hole in New England. If you've driven the Kancamagus Highway between Conway and Lincoln (NH 112), you've almost certainly seen or even stopped at this waterfall before. JACKSON FALLS Rating: Jackson, New Hampshire Wildcat Brook Roadside Come during the summer and spend the entire day in the swimming holes of this famous spot near downtown Jackson. The upper half of the falls is for swimming, while the lower falls are more thunderous. All of the falls are gorgeous during fall foliage.
GLEN ELLIS FALLS Rating: Jackson, New Hampshire Ellis River 0.3 mile hike one-way (easy/moderate) Fed by the cold waters of Mt. Washington, Glen Ellis Falls is a standout attraction in the White Mountains. Come see this 64-foot waterfall roar into its rocky basin.
THOMPSON FALLS Rating: Pinkhams Grant, New Hampshire Thompson Brook 0.6 mile hike one-way (easy/moderate) Thompson Falls is a lovely set of several waterfalls located near the Wildcat Mountain Ski Area. These clamshell-shaped falls represent the lowest falls found here.
NANCY CASCADES Rating: Livermore, New Hampshire Nancy Brook 2.8 mile hike one-way (moderate/difficult) Nancy Cascades is a dreamy chain of several beautiful falls. Reaching the falls requires a tough hike that includes a lot of elevation gain and two brook crossings.
WINNIWETA FALLS Rating: Jackson, New Hampshire Miles Brook 0.9 mile hike one-way (moderate/difficult) Up for an adventure? Reaching Winniweta Falls requires crossing the mighty Ellis River. This crossing keeps crowds far away, but it is typically doable from July through October (with some care, of course).

CHAMPNEY FALLS Rating: Albany, New Hampshire Champney Brook 1.7 mile hike one-way (moderate) Champney Falls is a seasonal set of falls on the northern slopes of Mt. Chocorua.You'll want to hike to these falls in spring or after heavy rains, otherwise you run the risk of seeing only a trickle of water.
